Spicy Broccoli Soup...

The Book...

Hot & Spicy Recipes

This collection of delicious hot & spicy recipes is sure to please any hot pepper lover! A special introduction provides information about the different peppers available, while the recipes include breakfast, soups, main dishes, sauces and more. A can't miss cookbook for anyone who loves spicy cooking!

Ingredients...

Medium Onion
Butter
Frozen Chopped Broccoli
Cream of Mushroom Soup
Milk
Jalapeno Cheese
Seasoning Salt

Experiences...

I had a good time with this recipe, nearly everything went smoothly and the directions were pretty much clear, however short. The only part I wasn't sure about was what to do with the cheese, so I melted it beforehand and poured it into the soup. It was simple, but very good!

The Outcome...

Let me just say I was wrong, I was really worried about this recipe, but it really turned out well. I already had a couple of bowls and I can't get enough of it. But, I probably will try to make less of it, because there is a lot of it. This would be something that I would reccomend to others to try for a nice lunch. I'm glad everyone voted for it, nice choice. :-)

Looks yummy turtle. I love soup and creamy soups are my favorites. On a scale of 1 to 10 what would you say the spice factor is???

I love soup and although I'm not a fan of spicy food usually, it looks great to use mushroom cream instead of vegetable broth or chicken stock. It looks great !!!

They look so good!!! All of your creations do. And btw... did you know that I work at Campbell Soup? I'm not sure if we made those soups you used or not.

And yes, I'm anal, and I went to look it up... and looks like we do/can/have made those soups, yet I don't know if we are the only plant to make them. I looked up the can code system and I could tell you dang near everything on that can of soup EXCEPT WHERE it was made. I could tell you when, what "line" it came off of (but couldn't tell you physically where that line is. :) ), even the time of day the can was filled, the day it was packed and of course the experation date... but alas I couldn't tell you if we made it or not. (not like it really matters, but it's kinda cool, oh and we make Prego Spegetti sauce, and Pace Hot sauce too.) :) (Yep I know, I'm a nerd.)

Ok, so not like you really care or anything, but I found out!

On the label, the second line will start with a code, if it says "EST4K", "P13", or "CT"... we made it here... anything else it was made somewhere other than the plant I work it.

I think its kinda cool, but then again I'm a nerd. :)
